Overview

Biosafety develops, updates and implements a comprehensive biological safety program including Institutional biosafety policies, guidelines and procedures. Biosafety identifies biological hazards in UCI campus, mainly associated with biological research, suggests methods to mitigate associated risks and serves as a resource for Federal, State and Local regulations and safety guidelines.

  • Preparing CDC and USDA import/transport permit application
  • Preparing for CDC and USDA inspection
  • Lab certification for NIH or other grantors
  • ATCC BSL2 upgrade approval
