Request a Hazardous Waste Pickup Using Email!
Note: Cell phone providers no longer support text-to-email messaging. Please email your pickup request directly to hwp@uci.edu.
Include in the email:
- PI or supervisor name
- Location of the waste including the building and room number
- KFS account number - not required for laboratory research hazardous waste (e.g., peroxide former, pyrophoric, flammable, toxic, etc.)
- 1 or 2 pictures of the waste
EHS will pick up your waste within 1 to 3 days.
Important: All biohazard bags must tied off and in an EHS provided drum for pickup.
